First Video Shoot!

So today we headed over to the church office to do our very first video shoot to be shown during all 3 church services this weekend! Next weekend my dear friend Whitney and her husband Daniel (the college pastor at NP) are holding a Foster and Adoption Workshop at NP! YAY! They are working on starting a non-profit organization to help churches care for orphans and so they are using NorthPointe as their pilot. So Whitney asked if Mark and I would do a video clip of our adoption of Kennedi to promote the workshop. YIKES! Totally not my "cup of tea" but hey, if it gets people to consider adoption that's all that matters right? It actually turned out to not be as bad as I had thought it would be. The hardest part was narrowing down our adoption experience for like a 30 second clip. As those of you in the adoption world know, there are many things you can talk about when asked about your adoption experience! Anyway, it's all done and we'll get to see the final product this Sunday (along with about 1800 others) during church service. Praying that our video inspires many to come out to the workshop next weekend, and in turn many children become no longer orphans.
