Sorry, another post with the pictures out of order! First of all, bear with me because I have not posted pictures of the kids in awhile and so I'm trying to catch up by posting the end-of-the-year activities! Today was the last day of school for all three kids. Kennedi and her class had "Water Day" as you saw above and she was so excited to wear her bathingsuit to school today! She LOVE the waterslides and would FLY down them at top speed. This girl is not afraid of anything! She had a great time! Katelyn and Bradley started their day at awards where Katelyn made Citizenship and Honor Roll and Bradley received Citizenship (next year he'll be eligible for Honor Roll)! After awards they each went to their classrooms for movies and popcorn. School was out at 11:30am. Us 6th grade parents had a big surprise for the 6th grade class when they got out of class, the limo you see above! When the bell rang, they all had to make a train and keep their eyes closed. We led them out to in front of the limo and had them open their eyes. They were so excited, screaming at the top of their lungs. Have you ever heard 7 pre-teens scream??? They all headed in the limo and the limo took them into Fresno for lunch at In-N-Out (myself and 3 other moms followed them into Fresno). When we arrived at lunch, the girls were all in tears. We asked the limo driver how they did in the car over and he said they were "emotional"! They were reminising over their time at KCS and began to cry over what they were leaving behind! The boys kept saying "stop crying!". Girls and their emotions! We all had lunch and then got to cruise down Blackstone! :) We took the "long way" home and ended our limo trip at Amanda's house for a swim party. They had a bounce house water slide that they put up to the pool where the kids could slide down and end up in the pool. We had cake and ice-cream and the kids had a great afternoon together. They will always remember their last day at KCS! :)
