Well, again it has been awhile since I have posted on the blog! Sorry. Happy Chinese New Year or Xin Nian Kuai Le! This evening we went to our local Chinese restaurant and had a yummy dinner. Kennedi wore an outfit we had sent to her last year when she was still at Bao'An. It was too big for her then but fit her perfectly tonight (well, the pants were long but nothing a good couple of roll-downs couldn't fix!). The kids received their red envelopes and even ones from Katie, the owner of the Chinese restaurant. The ladies at the restaurant just loved seeing Kennedi in her Chinese outfit and wouldn't stop talking to her in Chinese. Kennedi just gets embarrassed and hides when they do that and refuses to talk to them back. She did manage to say hello and goodbye to them in Chinese which is improvement for her! :) We look forward to repeating this tradition year after year with her!
