Kennedi's Doing Well

Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Just a quick post to tell you that Kennedi's surgery went just fine and she is doing okay. Her surgery did go longer than the surgeon expected it would because the hole she had on the inside of her lip was deeper than he thought it was. So a hour and 15 minute surgery became a 2 hour and 15 minute surgery. It took us awhile to get her to wake up after the surgery but she finally did and we were able to come home Friday night. She is such a trooper and has not cried at all about being in pain. She did cry last night saying she didn't like going to the doctor and why he had to do this to her. She had seen herself in the mirror and thought this is the way her lip was going to stay. It's hard for her to understand that it will look better. Other than that, she is watching her favorite cartoons, playing on the computer, and doing really well. Thank you for all your prayers!
